CloneCD Editor's Review

CloneCD is a single purpose CD copy program, which makes backups of your Multimedia and Data CDs. It writes in RAW mode, allowing full control over the written data.

CloneCD produces real 1:1 copies of your CDs, but might crash when copying on the fly. CloneCD does not need an ASPI driver and includes new technical features like "Automatic Fast Error Skip".

Although it has a new user interface, there is no notable difference compared to older versions of the program.

Pluses: Compact, reliable, and fast, CloneCD serves its purpose to the highest parameters.

Drawbacks / flaws: Might not work on some CD writers, doesn't include a cover designer and a bit to expensive compared to other similar products which also integrate CD/DVD reading/writing.

In conclusion: Clone CD is a suitable solution for users with basic needs, yet unsuitable for advanced users who need integrated DVD copying software.
